From 1988-1992, The Rockers electrified audiences around the world with their flashy attire and their high flying tandem offensive that worked to their advantage as they battled teams like The Hart Foundation, Demolition, The Brain Busters and The Orient Express. The Rockers were the most talented and popular tag teams to never "officially" win the Tag Tem Titles. In October, 1990 The Rockers won the WWF Tag Team Titles from the Hart Foundation on Saturday Night's Main Event. During the match, the top rope broke, causing some confusion. The Rockers defended the titles for a few days, when Vince McMahon decided the rope breaking caused an unfair working environment, and the title reign was unnulled and forgotten. The match was edited out of the SNME broadcast , and went down in history as the Rockers never had the belts.
